Gabrielle Union Starts Hair Care Product Line For Textured Hair

Gabrielle Union is following in Oprah Winfrey’s  footsteps as the actress launches her personal hair care line for women.

Gabrielle Union’s new hair-care brand is called “Flawless” and will feature ten products costing between $19 to 29 dollars. The products will include shampoos, conditioners, and other products for women with textured hair.

In a press release, Flawless’ mission is to “address issues women with textured hair face most often such as dryness, split ends, damage, brittleness, and frizz.”

Gabrielle Union also commented on her new product line, “I myself have suffered from one too many bad hair days and have never found one range of products that met all of my needs. I wanted to change that,” Union said. “This line is all about healthy hair and versatility – so you can change up your styles without compromising the condition of your hair. I want women to be able to express themselves, flawlessly!”

Flawless will become available on March 1st and will hit Ulta stores in April 2017.

Who is Gabrielle Union?

Gabrielle Union started her career in the 1990s appearing supporting roles in hit teen comedies such as She’s All That and 10 Things I Hate About You. But, it would be her 2000 supporting role in Bring It On that made Union a leading lady. Since then, she has appeared in several hit movies including Bad Boys II, Think Like a Man and Almost Christmas. Outside of the film industry, Union is the leading actress in the BET hit drama series Being Mary Jane where she won the NAACP Image Award.

This news comes after Oprah Winfrey announced a partnership Kraft-Heinz. The two organizations launched a new company called Mealtime Stories, LLC and will provide ready-to-eat refrigerated food products. Also, the 10% of revenue will be donated to charities to stop hunger.
