Model and reality star Kendall Jenner, 21, was robbed after thieves broke into her home and stole $200,000 in valuables.
Someone called the police around 1:15 a.m on Thursday to report a “burglary suspect here now,” according to the Los Angeles Times. After police arrived on the scene and searched the home, they were not unable to find any burglars. Sources close to the investigation report Jenner had multiple people inside her home, and several unknown people were able to gain access into her home. Also, detectives were unable to find any evidence that anyone broke-in at home.
Last year, Kendall Jenner purchased six-bed room home for $6.5 million, which belonged to actors John Krasinski and Emily Blunt.
But, as the Los Angeles Times pointed out, there have been a string of robberies affecting celebrities and athletes. $2 million worth of jewelry was taken from the home of singer Alanis Morissette last month. In addition, former L.A. Lakers basketball player Derek Fisher and rapper Nicki Minaj were robbed of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry last year.
This news comes after Kendall’s sister, Kim Kardashian was robbed in Paris last October. Reports surfaced that the leader in the robbery heist found all the information necessary to steal from the reality star was from the reality star’s social media posts. That said, Kardashian also explained that filming after the incident was “therapeutic”.
