Celebrating De Niro at The Tribeca Film Festival
Prepare for a trip down memory lane this year as the Tribeca Film Festival, co-founded by Robert De Niro in 2002, takes a moment to honor its star. De Niro Con will showcase 13 classics from the actor’s illustrious career. Among them is “Mean Streets,” set to screen on the 50th Anniversary, June 15, at the Beacon Theater.

The special screening will be followed by a Q&A with the actor and its famous director, Martin Scorsese. Queens rapper Nas will host the Q&A, continuing his connection with De Niro after inviting the star to his 50th birthday bash last year.
A Glimpse into De Niro’s Life
A part of De Niro Con includes a unique exhibition. It features 300 curated items from the actor’s personal collection, offering fans a sneak peek into his life beyond the screen. But that’s not all. Max Cady’s prison tattoo parlor from “Cape Fear” will be brought back to life, offering visitors a chance to get their own tats.
