Russian Playboy Model Detained on Suspicion of Being a Spy

A Russian Playboy model claims she was detained by United States agents after she arrived in Los Angeles, California because they believed she was a Russian Spy.

Victoria Bonya explained what happened on social media. She explained that she was detained after airport agents went through her luggage and found a business card for Spy-Land, a company that makes hidden cameras.

Bonya explained on Instagram, “Instead of asking some real questions, the officer decided to talk about her president [Vladimir Putin],”

“Finding out everything about my position, he started talking about the KGB,” she said. “I started laughing, as I really thought it was a joke, until they asked me the same thing for a third time!’’

Bonya explained she feared she would not be allowed into the United States. “It was a big shock! I thought that was it and that they will deport me asap,” she said.

Bonya was able to convince agents at LAX that the card had been passed to her after she showed officials her social media accounts. Bonya currently has 5 million followers on Instagram and 1.9 million Twitter followers.

From Eastern Russia, Bonya reportedly moved to Moscow and started off as a waitress before becoming a hit model.

This news comes after the White House has come under fire for colluding with Russia prior to and after the election. In fact, last week Jeff Sessions recused himself after reports surfaced Sessions met with the Russian Ambassador during the Presidential election.

That said, It is important to note that earlier today the White House revised an executive order that bans travelers from six Muslim countries from receiving new visas. President Trump signed a new travel ban Monday that imposed a 90-day ban and suspending the United States’ refugee program for 120 days, and will not accept more than 50,000 refugees per year. The last travel ban sparked several protests across the country and even national boycotts of companies that reportedly supported Donald Trump.
