Crocs are offering a free pair of their shoes to any U.S. healthcare worker.

As part of their “A Free Pair for Healthcare” program, Crocs is supplying all healthcare workers with a free pair of famous crocs or crocs at work. All healthcare workers have to do is ask for a pair, and shipping is free.

All healthcare workers have to do is request a pair here. The website will accept requests starting at 11 a.m. CT on weekdays, for a short time. Make sure to schedule an alarm on your phone, only a set amount of free shoes will be given away each day.

Crocs will also be donating 100,000 pairs of shoes to be distributed at select healthcare facilities and organizations.

This news comes after the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic is creating chaos across the United States economy and healthcare system. On Monday, Macy’s announced they are furloughing over 100,000 employees due to the Pandemic. “Across Macy’s, Bloomingdales, and Bluemercury [beauty] brands, we will be moving to the absolute minimum workforce needed to maintain basic operations,” the retailer said Monday.

Since March 18, all of Macy’s closed their stories. The company says they will stay closed “until we have [a] clear line of sight on when it is safe to reopen.” That said, their online retail business is still open, but the company said they lost a majority of their sales due to store closures.

It is nice to know that some companies are giving back to the U.S. community.
