The Much-Loved ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ Reborn as Exciting Animated Series

The Laugh Parade is Back!

Brush off your nostalgia goggles because ‘Everybody Hates Chris,’ the early-2000s comedy hit, is making a grand reappearance, but with an exciting twist! The show is taking the leap from live-action to animation, touting the new name, ‘Everybody Still Hates Chris.’ For those who cherished the original series, get ready to roll in laughter once again, as some of your favorite characters will be returning, complemented by a sprinkling of new ones.

Familiar Voices Return

Remember the narratives of puny, geeky Chris grappling with his hectic life in a large Brooklyn family during the late 80s? Well, Chris Rock is back to give voice to his animated adult version, ready to share more fantastic stories from his past. You’ll hear the characteristic hilarity and laughter packed into every line!

Fans will be excited to know familiar faces in Chris’s life are making a comeback. Terry Crews and Tichina Arnold will return to lend their voices to Julius and Rochelle, Chris’s parents. You’ll recall Julius, the hardworking dad doing numerous jobs to keep the family afloat, and Rochelle, the no-nonsense, tough mom. Are you ready to reunite with them?

New Characters Join the Fun

Besides the old favorites, new characters will join in the fun. Playing a ‘Young Chris’ will be Tim Johnson Jr, depicting Chris as the perpetually awkward nerd. As always, Chris often finds himself ensnared in his mischievous sister, Tonya’s pranks. Voicing Tonya is gonna be Ozioma Akagha.

Then there’s the family’s superstar-Drew, seamless at winning hearts of ladies around. So who’s voicing him? None other than Terrence Little Gardenhigh. Rounding out the cast will be Gunnar Sizemore as Greg, Chris’s school buddy.

A Quick Snapshot of ‘Everybody Hates Chris’

Crafted by Chris Rock and Ali LeRoi, ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ revolves around Rock’s teenage experiences unfolding in Brooklyn, New York City, from 1982 to 1987.
