Charlie Cox, who is known and hailed for his Daredevil role, is not new to the Marvel Universe. He also starred in “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, where he offered legal tips to Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. The Unexpected Comeback of Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson
Here’s more – the new series will also mark the return of some much-loved characters, including the delightful Foggy Nelson. Remember him? Elden Henson played Foggy Nelson in the original series, as a key ally known for his amusing friendship with Charlie Cox’s Daredevil. According to Cox, this return wouldn’t have been possible if Marvel had stuck to their original plan of a brief cameo in the very first episode.
The Brush-up of the Series Altered Foggy’s Destiny
In a chat, Cox disclosed that Henson wasn’t initially set to be a part of the new series. In the original plan, Foggy Nelson was supposed to make a one-off appearance in the first episode, marking a clear break between the old and new series.
Thoughtful Creative Changes for a Richer Story
The creation of “Daredevil: Born Again” has seen a number of years of passion and hard work. It witnessed several creative changes in 2024, which caused the series to evolve differently. This resulted in some delays, with production of the first nine episodes kicking off quite late, in March 2023. Another bout of filming happened from January to April in 2024. We hear that everything will be ready to go by the end of 2024.

Watch out for a star-studded cast of beloved characters, with the likes of Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Wilson Bethel, Jon Bernthal and Ayelet Zurer, all making a comeback. While the series story remains a secret, the return of so many adored roles and excitement around the plot ensures that “Daredevil: Born Again” will be a spectacular treat for fans.
