New Allegations Surface Against Sean “Diddy” Combs Amid Legal Troubles
In the wake of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent legal troubles, a lawyer representing a new accuser has revealed alarming details surrounding the rapper’s alleged misconduct. Combs, who faces federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges, is now confronted with additional claims from a woman who alleges she was raped by him in 2018.
Allegations of a Leaked Tape
Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, the attorney for the new accuser, disclosed on NewsNation’s Banfield that she has been contacted regarding the “sale of one of the Diddy tapes,” specifically a pornographic video that allegedly features the hip-hop mogul alongside someone “more high-profile” than himself.
Mitchell-Kidd indicated that the tape is currently being shopped around Hollywood, highlighting a culture of leaked tapes that have already emerged. “I can tell the video was pornographic in nature,” she explained, noting that the incident occurred at Combs’ Atlanta home. According to her, the person in the video may not have been aware that they were being recorded.
A New Accuser Steps Forward
Mitchell-Kidd’s new client claims that Combs raped her in 2018. According to the lawyer, the accuser recounted her experience of escaping from Combs after being drugged. “She called me and told me about her assault and her escape,” Mitchell-Kidd stated. The victim was at a friend’s house, which had connections to the entertainment industry, when Combs arrived unannounced.
During the incident, Mitchell-Kidd claims Combs served the woman a drink that made her feel woozy. “Combs sexually assaulted her with an inanimate object,” she alleged, adding that he directed another individual to assault her while he watched.
The victim reportedly managed to escape and ran into the street, an act witnessed by a neighbor, according to Mitchell-Kidd.
Legal Context and Ongoing Trials
These new allegations come as Combs remains behind bars, having been indicted on multiple counts related to directing a criminal enterprise that allegedly involved the assault and trafficking of women. The indictment details a “pervasive pattern of abuse” that includes orchestrating sexual encounters involving male sex workers transported across state lines and internationally.
Despite the serious nature of the charges, Combs has pleaded not guilty. His bail has been denied due to concerns he might flee the country, particularly following a series of lawsuits filed against him, including one from Cassie Ventura that initiated a federal investigation.
Additionally, another recent lawsuit claims that Combs drugged and raped a woman in 2001, further complicating his legal standing.
Combs’ Defense and Statements
In response to these allegations, Combs’ lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, has expressed disappointment over the prosecution’s actions, asserting that they represent an unjust campaign against the rapper. Agnifilo described Combs as a “music icon” and “loving family man,” arguing that he has been cooperative throughout the investigation.
“The acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide,” Agnifilo stated, urging the public to reserve judgment until all facts are revealed.
As the legal proceedings unfold, both the public and the entertainment industry watch closely, anticipating the implications of these new allegations on Combs’ already turbulent career.
