Casting Call for Booking.com Commercial Shoot in Thailand
How would you like to spend Thanksgiving in beautiful Thailand aboard a high-profile project that could catapult your acting or modelling career? Ariza Talent & Modeling Agency has just opened its doors for talent to audition for a Booking.com commercial campaign. The roles require showing up in video and still footage and making versatile contributions to media production for different platforms.
Here’s What You Need to Know
The casting directors are keen on casting talent with valid U.S. passports. It’s a great chance to whip out your passports and travel for work. Expect to journey between November 19 and December 2, Thanksgiving included, to Thailand for this overseas shoot.
If you love presenting in front of cameras, this opportunity is for you. You’ll be partaking in crafting video and still assets for a Booking.com commercial to feature on TV, digital domains, and social networks. From traditional TVCs to online ads and brand-specific content, you’ll create a mosaic of captivating content that’ll win over audiences.
Breaking Down the Role
It’s not all about shooting films; the job packs in quite a bit of responsibility. The filming tasks require you to be around for up to 10 hours daily while accommodating extra hours, if necessary. Asides from filming, you’d partake in fittings and overhaul your adaptability skills to deliver effective content in different formats.
Now, before you gear up for this adventure, ensure that your passport won’t expire in the next six months, at least. Being available for the specified travel dates and being prompt and professional on set are non-negotiable. Be ready to send in a self-tape audition, and perhaps, brace yourself for virtual or in-person callbacks.
Getting Paid for Travelling: The Perks
Once you’re a part of this team, your every minute spent on the project accrues value. You’d earn $700 for a 10-hour session. Fitting tasks would fetch $75 per hour up to four hours. For every day spent on traveling and rest, you’ll earn $350. Overtime is paid at higher rates.
Guess what? Even when you’re off the camera, you’d still be earning! You’ll receive a buyout of $7,500 for the first year, with the possibility of an increment of 10% for the second year, if the project continues. Additionally, you might get to earn $2,000 for the print, which also carries the possibility of a 10% increase in the second year. Plus, there’s a $50 per day allowance.
Sounds good? If you’ve always dreamt of combining work with overseas travel, start putting together your audition tapes now! And keep an eye out for other similar opportunities. That way, if you don’t get this one, you’ll be ready for the next. With the right mindset, persistence, and hard work, you can make your dream to star in global commercial campaigns into a reality. So, get moving! It’s time to sparkle!
