Statues of Confederate soldiers and leaders is still a hot-button issue in many Southern states, cities, and community. Some groups support the monuments saying the Civil War is not about slavery and should be honored to recognize previous historical figures.
John Oliver had something to say to those groups. On Sunday, the HBO late night host spent the night program explaining why they are wrong. Oliver called out the issues with that argument and also came up with a perfect solution for Confederate statue supporters.
