Here’s some latest buzz in the entertainment world! Remember the maker of Tangerine, Sean Baker? Wel, he’s back with a bang. He has launched the trailer of his brand new movie ‘Anora.’ And man, it’s pretty intense!
Anora’s Story Is Sweeter than Honey
Our movie distribution company NEON released the trailer today. In the movie, lovely Mickey Madison is the lead actress playing Ani. She’s known for her engaging role in Better Things. We see her enjoying a luxurious lifestyle with a rich dude, Ivan. This character is powerfully portrayed by Mark Eidelshtein. All the fun things rich people do- parties, shopping sprees, private flights. It’s all there.
But wait, there’s a twist! Ivan’s not just some random rich dude. He’s the son of a rich, powerful Russian family. And they’re not thrilled that their son is in love with Ani, who happens to be a sex worker. As you might guess, love in danger is what follows next.
I should mention Yuriy Borisov, Karren Karagulian, and Vache Tovmasyan. They all did a fantastic job playing their roles. This movie is a joint venture of FilmNation Entertainment, Samantha Quan, Alex Coco, and our man, Baker. This movie is such a hit that it got a 10-minute standing ovation at its Cannes premiere.
