Here’s something else that raises eyebrows. Mother Koril’s story has uncanny resemblances with that of Mother Talzin. Both have lost much and harboured schemes of revenge – Talzin against Sidious for Maul’s supposed demise, and Koril likely plotting against the Jedi due to her twins’ perceived loss.

It’s interesting to note that while Koril and Darth Maul both belong to the Zabrak species, they are of different races. Koril is Iridonian while Maul is a Dathomiran Zabrak. But these little differences don’t make Headland’s hints any less exciting, rather they add more depth and intrigue.
