Beloved Travel Agent Dies in Tragic Mishap
One beautiful and talented 27-year-old, Aanvi Kamdar, had her life cut short on July 16. This travel influencer fell into a gorge at Kumbhe waterfall, tragically losing her life. Kumbhe waterfall, around 80 miles from the bustling city of Mumbai, is known for its treacherous and slippery rocks. Aanvi, celebrated for her lifestyle and travel advice, ventured to the site with a group of seven companions. Yet, fate had a harsh twist. She stumbled on a rocky patch, plunging to her doom.
Tough Rescue Attempt Unfolds
The local authorities reported that getting to Kamdar’s body was a massive effort, needing 56 people from diverse teams. The depth of the canyon made it hard to spot her. On finding her, the teams used a stretcher tied to ropes for winching her up the steep cliff. Six courageous people descended to retrieve her, while 50 others gave support from above.
Emergency Response After Disastrous Tumble
After the gruelling six-hour rescue mission, Kamdar did not pass away instantly. She was put on life support and hurried to Managon Taluka Government Hospital. Despite all attempts to save her, she didn’t survive her injuries.
