Kris Jenner: Filming Was “Therapeutic” for Kim Kardashian After the Paris Robbery

The upcoming season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians is only days away. In preparation for the upcoming new season of the hit reality drama, Kim Kardashian is seen recounting what happened to her during the Paris Robbery – where several men broke into her room, held her at gunpoint, and robbed her of millions of dollars worth of jewelry.

While Kris Jenner, the executive producer behind Keeping Up with the Kardashian, has seen the interview, she says she still has not finished watching it.

During an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Jenner explained, “I just saw some of it. I couldn’t even watch the whole thing it was so upsetting. It was such an upsetting time, and something so awful happened to somebody you love so much. And it’s just like — ugh — it chokes me up every time to think about it.”

Jenner added, “Like, I get choked up just thinking about it and talking about it. But it’s remarkable to listen to her tell the story, and she does that, moment by moment.”

Kris Jenner explains that the details of the Paris Robbery do not air until the second half of KUWTK. However, Jenner revealed filming helped Kardashian recover from the incident.

“When we started filming again and getting up and running, you know obviously Kim was around because we all practically live together on the street,” Jenner explained. “And we started filming and what was coming out of that was very therapeutic for her, I think. To just explain to us and walk us through.”

Jenner added, “She just thinks that it might bring some awareness. You know, it’s changed the way we live our lives and just the way we take care of our kids and our grandchildren. So it’s been a process.”

After the Paris Night robbery, Kim Kardashian stopped filming on the show and posted very few photos on social media. However, months after the incident, Kim Kardashian has slowly resurfaced to the public limelight.

Also, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have moved out of Kris Jenner’s home. “They moved to their home in Bel-Air. I said to her, ‘I kind of forgot you had a house across town. You should have been living there the whole time!’

This news comes after photos of the Paris night robbery surfaced online revealing the location, evidence, and details from the evening Kim Kardashian was duct-taped and robbed.
